And just like what Alice Cooper would say, SCHOOL’s OUT!
I’m done with my diploma!
next stop, Degree!
Oh wait, no, National Service first.
but before that…
The holidays!
And that means…
Time to be “inspired”
No more science stuffs from now on.
I’ll do nothing but art. Art, art, art and nothing but art. Oh and music, how can I forget.
Some updates will go to my online Photo Diary
So, ti’ll then.
Out.
Why’s everyone (ok not all, mostly) only after bout the brand of an item?! Everything is about brand, brand, famous brand, expensive brand, high-class brand, fucking brand!. “Oh that brand is expensive, its definitely good! you should have that one!”. Yea?? yea, fuck you materialistic idiots. Maybe I’m generalizing, but don’t tell me you don’t agree.
Haha ok this post is exaggerated. Maybe I’m just so fed-up with this materialistic society.
Having some form of 80s frenzy…
And I also noticed that I’m eating bunch of 35mm films. Burning my savings. But heck, its worth-it. Or maybe not, but oh well. I’m gonna stop spending on my hobbies once I’m doing national service.
So the title says it all. I’ve fixed my Yashica FX-D Quartz! Well, it has been dead for a good whole month due to the shutter curtain being stuck. I’ve contacted a couple of renowned camera repair shops but repair doesn’t come cheap ei. Cheapest was of a staggering $150. One of them even said that there’s no point repairing my camera since the repair would be so expensive, I can already get a new one. Sooo…I tried to be clever just now and dismantled the camera. Before I know it, the shutter’s back to life! yeeeha!
ok I’m out.
Happy Lunar New Year and Happy Birthday to me.
Man, I’m getting older every minute or so it seems…
I wish for….well my wishes, i’ll just keep them to myself, god knows them.
I just want everything to end.
I meant school. Holidays here I come, in a months time…
I slept right after dinner all the way ti’ll 12 plus am, great. But not as great as I thought it is. I missed a great russian camera (russian fed-2, almost a leica copy) being auctioned at a ridiculously low price, together with a handful of professional films. Damn it. And no, not being materialistic here, just me being a collector of somesort. So, ti’ll then…

Purchased this camera this afternoon from a collector. It is tagged with a very interesting price considering its actual value. There’s the chrome version but the black is much more RARE. The exterior shows signs of usage, well I’ll be surprised if it doesn’t, it is made in ’72! Overall, it still functions pretty well or at least that’s what the seller claims. Viewfinder is clean, No major scratch nor fungus and haze on the lens, Shutter fires normally, shutter speed/aperture/ASA rings turns smoothly except for the focus ring which is slightly sticky due to age. . I’ll load fresh film on it now (fuji superia 200), guess it’ll make me occupied for the next few days…
I almost purchased a lomo-camera! (belomo vilia 35mm straight from Russia) it was quite affordable and yes when I say affordable, its heck affordable. But even so, I had second thoughts. I thought of doing zone/scale focusing for every frames I take and I don’t think that’s fun (what’s fun for other people doesn’t mean it’ll work on me). Furthermore, its like diving straight into the lomography hype. So yea, a no go.
